ChainMaster: New BGV-D8 Plus

ChainMaster presents new BGV-D8 Plus chain hoist at Prolight + Sound, Hall 9.0 / E39.

ChainMaster has extended its range of BGV-D8 plus rigging lifts. As of now, a new model is available in this segment with a load-bearing capacity of 250 kg that is capable of moving loads at a speed of 4 m/min.

Without chain, the net weight of the chain hoist is around 22 kg. Chains of various lengths are prepared to customer’s specifications. ChainMaster offers package prices for the new rigging lift inclusive of either 18 or 24 metres of chain.

The new chain hoist will be presented publicly for the first time at the ChainMaster booth (Hall 9.0/E39) at this year’s Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt.

ChainMaster of Eilenburg has been producing chain hoists and controllers for theatrical and show stages since 1990, references including the Pentagon Museum, the Kremlin and the international tours of acts like Metallica, Paul McCartney and U2. The Saxony-based firm is now one of the leading suppliers of chain hoists and chain-hoist controllers in the world.

Among ChainMaster’s greatest successes has been the development of the VarioLift. As the new products multiply, the company, too, is expanding to meet increasing demand. Currently it employs some 20 workers in its own hi-tech production facility in Eilenburg. As well as developing a powerful distribution network inside Germany, ChainMaster has been particularly successful in the export market, exports currently accounting for around 60 per cent of the company’s turnover.
